The Art of Becoming Me
because healing doesn’t end,
but it doesn’t have to feel so heavy
Join us for a monthly, in-person group using
art & creativity to ditch overthinking & connect within
Healing from childhood patterns, dysfunction, and trauma can feel unexpectedly long.
The overthinking can feel intense, like a constant “loop track” in your head,
leading to dread about sessions.
You think you’ve worked through something – then it shows up again somewhere else, right?
Someone once described, “It’s like I’m constantly doing ‘etch-a-sketch’ with myself.”
I’ve been there, too, and it’s overwhelming and discouraging.
This group isn’t about fixing anything (including YOU). Healing isn’t a destination, it’s just a new lens.
This group is about giving your nervous system a break while still doing something effective.
It’s a gentler way to support healing, when the confrontational-type of therapy just wears you down.
You don’t have to talk. You don’t have to share. You don’t have to present anything.
You can just show up and give your soul some relief – and maybe make some friends.
You don’t have to know what you’re doing
You don’t have to come with anyone
You don’t have to be “good” at art
You can even throw it away if you want
This is not about any outcome.
It’s about the process.
What if healing could feel a little gentler, but still powerful?
It can.

- Mental Resilience: Engaging in artistic activities can enhance mental resilience, helping individuals cope with stress and improve their overall psychological health.
- Self-Awareness: Art therapy encourages self-exploration, increasing self-awareness and helping individuals understand their emotions better.
- Coping Mechanism: Art can serve as a coping mechanism, providing a creative outlet for managing stress and emotions.
- Community Support: Art therapy fosters a supportive community where individuals can share their creations, increasing their self-worth and providing a sense of belonging.
- Increase serotonin & blood flow levels to the part of the brain associated with pleasure.
