The Art of Becoming Me for Healers

because healing doesn’t end, even for therapists

Join us for a monthly online group using

structured art & creativity to

support the healer, too.

Healing from your own childhood patterns, dysfunction, and trauma can feel challenging

especially when you’re holding space for others every day.

The overthinking can feel intense, like a constant “loop track” in your head.

Healers are so focused on supporting others, we often overlook our own self-tending.

This is the break you know you’ve needed for a while.

I’ve been there, too, and it’s overwhelming and discouraging.

This group isn’t about fixing anything (including YOU). It’s just about tending to your own spiritual and inner world.

This group is about giving your mind a break while connecting to your inner self.

It’s a gentler way to support healing, when the demands of being there for others can feel too much.

You don’t have to talk. You don’t have to share. You don’t have to present anything.

You can just show up and give your soul an experience of relief & connection.

You don’t have to know what you’re doing
You don’t have to come with anyone
You don’t have to be “good” at art
You can even throw it away if you want

This is not about any outcome.
It’s about the process.

What if support could feel a little gentler, but still powerful?

It can.

Why art in healing?

Expressive and creative arts are powerful tools in mental health care, offering numerous healing benefits for well-being. Here are some key benefits of art in mental health healing:

  • Emotional Expression: Art allows individuals to express emotions and thoughts that may be difficult to articulate verbally, providing a nonverbal outlet for trauma and anxiety.
  • Mental Resilience: Engaging in artistic activities can enhance mental resilience, helping individuals cope with stress and improve their overall psychological health.
  • Self-Awareness: Art therapy encourages self-exploration, increasing self-awareness and helping individuals understand their emotions better.
  • Coping Mechanism: Art can serve as a coping mechanism, providing a creative outlet for managing stress and emotions.
  • Community Support: Art therapy fosters a supportive community where individuals can share their creations, increasing their self-worth and providing a sense of belonging.
  • Increase serotonin & blood flow levels to the part of the brain associated with pleasure.
  • Mindset shifts: Resilience building, fostering hope & new ways of thinking.
